Discord alerts
Send every alert to a Discord channel you choose, with the browser closed.
What you get
Every alert you set can also arrive as a message in a Discord channel you choose, with the browser closed, as a tidy embed: title, token address, price, market cap, liquidity and volume, and a link that opens the token on Verve and on the chain's explorer.
Connect Discord
- Create a webhook in Discord
In your Discord server open Server Settings, then Integrations, then Webhooks, create a webhook for the channel you want and copy its URL. - Open Alert settings in Verve
Open Settings, then Alert settings, and choose the Discord card. - Paste the URL and save
Verve checks the webhook with Discord, saves it and sends one test message to the channel. - Check the channel
The test message should appear. Alerts now arrive there as well.
Manage the connection
- Pause delivery with the switch, or Disconnect to remove the webhook from Verve.
- If Discord reports that the webhook was deleted or its access was removed, the card says so and delivery stops; create a new webhook and save it again.
- Only webhooks on discord.com are accepted. Alerts never ping people: mentions are switched off in every message.
Good to know
- Discord limits how fast it accepts messages. If it asks Verve to wait, the alert is delivered after the wait.
- A message that is unclear whether Discord received it is marked unknown and never sent twice.
