Copilot
An assistant that researches and prepares trades. What it may do is decided by you, chain by chain.
What Copilot is
Copilot is an assistant inside Verve. It helps you research tokens, understand your portfolio and prepare trades. What it may do is decided by you, chain by chain. Open it from Copilot in the bottom bar; it opens as a floating panel you can drag, resize or pin.
While it works, a single word beside the activity orb says what it is doing, such as Quoting or Signing, and an expandable trail lists the steps it actually took.
Three access levels per chain
| Level | Account data on that chain | Trades on that chain |
|---|---|---|
| Read-only | None. Wallets on that chain are never loaded. | Never |
| Approval (default) | Wallets, portfolio, positions, history | Prepared, then wait for you to confirm |
| Full | Same as approval | Executed without per-trade confirmation, within your limits |
Full access on Solana grants nothing on Ethereum. The level is read from Verve's database on every request, never from what a message says, and a chain with no stored choice is approval: the absence of a grant is never a grant.
Limits you set
- Maximum amount per trade, per chain, in that chain's own asset.
- Daily budget, per chain, rolling over 24 hours.
- Automatic transfers: sends stay approval-only unless you explicitly allow them on that chain.
Copilot starts at approval, never full. Verve does not ask for access at start-up: change it any time from the badge in the Copilot header. In onboarding you can choose Full access after an explicit acknowledgement; that sets every chain to full with the maximum limits and allows automatic transfers, and you can revoke it from the Copilot header.
Same fee path as manual trades
Copilot trades go through the same swap path, checks and fees as trades you place yourself: 0.9%, or 0.81% with a sign-up referral. There is no separate or hidden charge. A trade is only reported as executed when a transaction comes back; otherwise it says it was submitted.
What it cannot see or do
- On a read-only chain it sees none of your wallets, so it cannot name an address there.
- The AI only sees wallet nicknames, never your full addresses and never your keys.
- It cannot export keys, change your password or change its own authority.
