Telegram alerts

Get every alert in a Telegram chat, on your phone and computer, with the browser closed.

What you get

Every alert you set in Verve also arrives in your Telegram chat, on your phone and computer, with the browser closed.

Connect Telegram

  1. Open Alert settings
    In Verve, open Settings and choose Alert settings. Find the Telegram card.
  2. Choose Connect Telegram
    Verve opens Telegram in a new tab with a one-time link to the Verve alerts bot.
  3. Press Start
    In Telegram press START. The bot answers: "Connected to Verve. Your price alerts will arrive here. Send /stop to disconnect."
  4. Check the card
    Back in Verve the card changes to your Telegram name with "Connected" and a Disconnect button.

Pause, stop and disconnect

  • The Send to Telegram switch pauses delivery without disconnecting.
  • Send /stop in the chat, or choose Disconnect in Verve. Either one ends delivery at once: alerts waiting to be sent are cancelled and the bot sends nothing after "Disconnected."
  • If you block the bot, Verve unlinks the chat. Connect again later and old alerts are never replayed.

Good to know

  • Only private chats work, not groups.
  • Telegram allows about one message a second per chat; Verve spaces alerts to stay under it.
  • The bot never asks for a password, a key or a phrase. Anything that does is not Verve.
