Export your keys
Because Verve wallets are non-custodial, you can back up the private key of any wallet and use it elsewhere.
Why export a key
- To keep your own backup, independent of any service.
- To use the same wallet in another compatible wallet app.
- To prove to yourself that you control the funds.
The steps
- Open the wallet
Go to the Wallets tab and find the wallet you want to back up. - Choose Export Private Key
Select the export button for that wallet. A dialog explains that anyone with the key can access the wallet. - Pass the Security Check
Confirm it is you with the emailed code or your passkey. A completed export also sends you a security notice. - Record the key offline
The key appears in a secure form rendered by Turnkey, not by Verve's own pages. Copy or write it down, store it where only you can reach it, then close the window.
Storing the key safely
- Write it down or use an offline password manager. Do not keep it in screenshots, email or cloud notes.
- Never type it into a website or send it to anyone, including anyone claiming to be support. Verve will never ask for it.
- Anyone with the key controls the wallet. If you think it was seen, move the funds to a new wallet.
Importing a key
You can also bring a wallet in. In the Wallets tab choose Import wallet, pick the chain and enter the key in the secure form. It goes into your own wallet account, with Verve's revocable trading permission. See Multi-wallet.
