Orders

Orders swap for you later, when the price, a time or a developer's sale says so.

Kinds of orders

The kinds of orders Verve supports.
OrderWhat it does
LimitBuys when the price or market cap falls to your level, or sells when it rises to it.
Take profitSells part or all of a position when the price rises to your level.
Stop lossSells part or all of a position when the price falls to your level.
Dev SellSells when the token's creator sells. Solana only, where the creator's sales are known.
DCASplits a total into equal slices bought at a fixed interval.
TWAPSpreads a total evenly over a duration.
Sell on migrationSells a Solana position when its token migrates to a full market.

Placing one

Use Limit or Adv. on the token page panel. Choose the wallet, the amount, the level and optionally an expiry. A level that is already reached is refused, because it would fill at once. A take-profit or stop-loss strategy can also be attached to a market buy: it becomes real orders after the buy confirms, sized from the position you then hold.

Seeing and changing orders

  • The Orders tab on the token page lists open orders (one line per DCA or TWAP, with progress and the next slice) and recent ones, with Cancel.
  • Armed orders are drawn as lines on the chart. Drag a line to change its level; the side never changes. Click its x to cancel.
  • You are notified when an order fills or fails.

How orders behave

  • Each order is your consent to one swap of exactly that shape. It runs through the same swap path, fee and checks as a manual trade.
  • There is no cap on how many orders you have. Slippage has no upper limit, as everywhere.
  • A trigger that is too old by the time it can run is closed without sending anything. An order that may or may not have been sent is never sent twice.
  • Orders use the chain's native coin. A DCA slice that cannot run in its window expires instead of firing in a burst.
